Il filtro di importazione così denominato serve ad importare in EndNote file che sono stati scaricati da database online -o esportati con lo stesso filtro di export dallo stesso EndNote, v.8 e superiore-, utilizzando l'opzione: EndNote [Export] format.

Questo filtro serve ad importare files che sono stati esportati dai programmi o nel formato convenzionalmente denominato "Refer o BibIX".
N.B. Siccome il formato Refer non esibisce una etichetta (tag) per l'RT reference type, prima di importare occorre aggiungerla a mano, come "%0" (zero) all'inizio di ogni record, facendola seguire dal nome del tipo di documento
(RT), es.:
%0 Journal Article
In mancanza di ciò tutti i record verranno importati come "Generic" reference type.
Se tutti i record da importare sono dello stesso tipo di documento, allora è più semplice indicare nel filtro di conversione il "Reference Type" di default.
